The next Beta Club meeting will be on Tuesday, September 30 at 12:38 in room 417. The Treasurer elections will be held, so any junior running for this position should have their signed forms at the meeting to run. We will also be handing out the boxes for Trick or Treat for UNICEF. All applications and dues must be turned in by October 28 to be a member this year.
The first meeting for the new year will be on Tuesday, August 26 at 12:38 (during Flex time) in room 417. New members may join at this time. All members, whether new or old, must fill out a new application. New members must pay dues of $20. We will be electing the Treasurer from among the juniors at the meeting in September. Any junior wishing to run for this office should pick up an officer application from Mrs. Keller prior to that meeting.
Here is the schedule for the rest of the year:
March 27: Beta Club meeting/ MDA donations due
April 14-25: Food Drive for Good Samaritan- we will need people to drop off boxes on April 11 and pick up food on April 25. We could also use donations of boxes.
April 24: Beta Club meeting/ 2014-2015 officer elections
May 10: Cleanup at Indian Trail Intermediate School at 10 AM- bring items to pull/dig up weeds.
May 15: Seniors may pick up honors cords if they have met all requirements.
May 17: Cleanup at Woodland Elementary School at 10 AM- bring items to weed & spread mulch.
Community Service hours for seniors need to be turned in by the end of April. Juniors must have their hours in before school is out.
We will be collecting money for UNICEF during October. The money must be turned in by November 8th. If you need a box, see Mrs. Keller in room 417.
Our next meeting is Thursday, Sept. 26 after school in room 417!
