The first Beta Club meeting of the 2016-2017 school year will be on Tuesday, August 23 after school in room 417. Applications can be picked up at this time or before or after school or during Flex time. Applications and fees for first time members are due back by Oct. 25. This year there is a Beta Club for 11th & 12th graders as usual, but Mrs. Laufenberg will also have a Beta Club for 9th & 10th graders. Contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org if interested. Any juniors wishing to run for the office of treasurer should pick up an application. Treasurer elections will be held at the September 27 meeting.
Our next meeting will be on Friday, January 29th at 12:35 in room 417. Our next activity will involve bringing in supplies for the WynnWood Wildlife Rehab. Center. A list of needed items will be given out at the meeting and posted here afterwards. Don’t forget to be working on those 15 hours for the year!

Don’t forget that we are currently taking donations of pet food and supplies for the Washington County Animal Shelter! These need to be turned in by November 25 to be taken to the shelter. All UNICEF donations should already be turned in to Mrs. Keller.
During the meeting today UNICEF boxes were given out. If you did not get yours, stop by room 417 during the first half of Flex time to pick one up. Money for Trick or Treat for UNICEF is due on Monday, Nov. 3. Make sure your name is on the box.
The next meeting is Tuesday, October 28 at 12:38. All applications and dues must be turned in by this meeting.
We will be taking donations of pet food at the November 25th meeting. Any donations can be dropped off in room 417 prior to that date. Make sure your name is on it to get credit for the project.
